This positions will provide telephonic member and provider education on preventive health screenings and disease monitoring testing to increase compliance with HEDIS quality measures. This position will also include travel to provider offices, discussions with providers on alternative options for medical record collection, and data entry/scanning of medical records.
-Phone calls to members/providers to educate on preventive health screenings/disease monitoring testing
-Collection of medical records telephonically from provider offices
-Travel to provider office locations 10-25% of time
-Educating providers on HEDIS
-Promoting alternative methods of record collection such as remote EMR access/data feeds
-Reviewing medical records for HEDIS data
-Advanced phone skills
-Advanced communication skills
-Advanced customer service skills
-Moderate office equipment experience (scanner, flash drive, ipad, copier, fax, computer)
-Moderate to Advanced Microsoft Office experience (word, excel, outlook)
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.
Part-Time Telework (3 days office-based, 2 days telework)
