The Development Operations and Infrastructure Services team inside of Aetna Digital is responsible for managing the cloud infrastructure which can support the next generation of consumer driven health care products. This team is responsible for the design and implementation of a wide range of platform services such as centralized logging, monitoring, and configuration management, as well as the management of our Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
Maintaining, enhancing, scaling, all environments from development to production (AWS)
Working with Software Architecture and Engineering teams to satisfy infrastructure requirements
Managing and scaling out our deployment infrastructure
Helping with the migration to industry best practices for Configuration Management
Participate in on-call rotation

3 - 5 years experience managing multi-node enterprise systems
3 - 5 years experience with Linux (Redhat/CentOS, Amazon, Ubuntu)
1+ years managing Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure
Experience with Chef, Puppet, Ansible or Salt
Experience implementing CI with Infrastructure as Code
Experience with Docker and Container Orchestration services (Kubernetes, Mesosphere, ECS)
Experience with NewRelic, CloudWatch, Splunk or Zabbix
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL or other RDBMS
Experience with NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB, ElasticSearch or Redis
Experience managing OSX to manage the build and testing of iOS software
Experience with Network engineering and management
Experience with CI servers (Jenkins)
Demonstrated experience with Cloud Engineering in AWS
Bachelors degree in Technology or equivalent experience
AWS Certified Engineers preferred
Additional vendor certifications a plus
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
