Candidate must be a SAS Programmer, who is comfortable speaking with external constituents, and explaining complex data to diverse audiences.

Fundamental Components:

Under direct supervision, conducts analyses of complex and varied healthcare data to assist in the assessment of health and economic outcomes.

  • Performs plan sponsor and consultant reporting, interacts with external constituents.

  • Performs research and custom analysis of complex healthcare claims, pharmacy and lab data and provides data summaries and reports.

  • Independently performs analyses on integrated healthcare data to include listing, graphical summaries and formal statistical estimates.

  • Performs all aspects of data analyses (i.e., data acquisition, data management, SAS programming and documentation) and identifies data issues and makes recommendations on research design and analysis.

  • Assesses the quality of analysis data and performs cross-study analyses to identify and correct data issues and combine data from various sources.

  • Develop and implement advanced analytic and data-mining methods.

  • Builds statistical models using multiple data sets to predict the likelihood of events or outcomes.

  • Evaluates, writes and presents reports and makes recommendations based on project findings.

  • Illustrates complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Creatively translates information using business knowledge.

  • Interprets, analyzes and presents key findings to key internal and external customers.

  • May mentor and provide guidance or expertise to team members to develop a talented and energetic team.


  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and project management skills.

  • Demonstrated extensive and diverse knowledge of health care data, metrics, systems and standards.

  • Must be able to create, maintain and manipulate extensive, complicated data sets.

  • Must be independent in all aspects of programming.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Telework Specifications:

Full time Telework (WAH). Considered for any US location. Training period in the office may be required. Candidate must be a SAS Programmer, who is comfortable speaking with external constituents, and explaining complex data to diverse audiences.
