Technology lead for PayFlex, an affiliate company of Aetna, with 3M members across 5200 plan sponsors administering $1.7B in tax-advantage benefit health savings accounts, processing $3.1B in claims and administering eligibility and wellness services

Responsible for:

o Strategic IT analysis, planning, and delivery of IT solutions

o Executive leadership and communication

o Develop a strong, positive culture of collaboration

o Delivery of new IT investment that support business growth

o Manage team across several cities including the United States and India

o IT governance and portfolio management

o Personnel development, mentoring and training

o Financial/Cost center management

o Program and project management

o Business analysis

o Application development

o Quality assurance

o Production support and technical operations

o Release and configuration management

o Reporting, data and analytics

o Vendor management

o Incident, problem and change management

o Audit and compliance including PCI, SOX, SOC1 and Aetna internal audits.

Develops and maintains strong partnership with enterprise teams for:

o PayFlex business leaders

o Security

o Infrastructure

o Architecture

o Call Center Telephony and Service


10+ years work experience in systems analysis and application program development. 7+ years leadership experience in leading complex or multifunctional organization. Extensive knowledge of the system development life cycle, the client area's functions and systems, and application program development alternatives. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategy Analytical ability. Strong judgment. Management skills in engaging & developing people. Ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff. Financial services industry background is desirable.Consulting firm experience is desirable.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
