Account management and business retention for Aetna small group products and services in support of profitable growth and other business objectives.

Fundamental Components:

The successful candidate(s) are accountable for building and maintaining strong relationships with their customers and brokers, and managing their book of business to achieve growth and retention objectives. Responsibilities include delivering renewals, cross-sale, upsale, and growing sales. Support small group brokers and plan sponsors with self-funded products, including general account management, reporting, and account renewal activity -working collaboratively with sales, underwriting, operations and all functional support areas to ensure we deliver on commitments to our customers.


-Prior experience in Health insurance industry 1-2 years (or more) -Strong account management and sales orientation -Bachelor's degree in a closely-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Appropriate state licensure to sell insurance as required, subject to product sold. Must earn license within 90 days of hire.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
