Aetna Administrative Assistant in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Perform administrative and general office duties including file maintenance, mail distribution and telephone reception for the Grand Rapids Office.

Fundamental Components:

Screens telephone calls, answers routine questions and furnishes information

Opens, sorts, distributes, scans, organizes, prioritizes and responds to mail

Coordinates calendars; scheduling meetings, room reservations, hospitality arrangements

Operates and maintains various office equipment

Orders and maintains office supplies

Significant portion of duties may be in support of basic technical discipline

Organizes and maintains files of supervisor's correspondence, records etc.

Handles special projects as assigned by the manager in support of Billing and Reimbursement services

Opens, sorts, and distributes mail.

Responsible for outgoing mail as it related to fulfillment requirements

May manage fax operations


Up to a year of administrative or technical support experience.

Attention to details

Working knowledge of Microsoft tools


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
