This position will be responsible for leading a team of account executives and account managers towards the territories market growth and retention targets. The role will be critical to continue market visibility, broker management and directing the continued coaching and growth of the team.
Cultivates strong, productive and influential relationships with brokers/consultants, customers and peers focusing on all of Aetna's commercial business lines.
Implements strategies necessary to attain sales objectives and retention targets in assigned areas.
Manages complex negotiations, positions products, rate levels and expanded product portfolios to increase sales/retention and maximize revenue
Manages the integration of client's and Aetna's internal organizations to meet client's installation needs and close the deal.
Provides expertise in difficult renewals. Collaborates with account management and underwriting for renewals on assigned book of business. (*)
Identifies various ways to partner with the client by drawing from entire spectrum of product line. Gains understanding
Provides effective presentations to Aetna constituents. (*)
Health Care Management experience needed (2-3 years)
Sales and Service experience desired for role
Industry knowledge and experience needed (5-7 years)
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Insurance/Life, Health & Accident License (PA) is desired
Insurance/Life and Health Insurance License is desired
Functional - Management/Management - Sales and Renewals/1-3 Years
Functional - Products-Medical/Active Benefit Design/1-3 Years
