The Business Program Manager Global Business Services will be primarily responsible for providing support in managing the offshoring operations for the Workers Comp division.

This includes identifying & planning new opportunities for outsourcing for the business as well development of a Program Management Framework utilizing industry benchmarking and industry best practices. The Business Program Manager Global Business Services will play a lead role in working with Procurement, Legal and Business to develop and execute contracts, SoWs and master service agreements with the vendors. He/she is expected to work directly with various stakeholders in the company to complete projects and tasks. Stakeholders include Directors, VPs, C-Suite as well as staff from other departments (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Operations, IT & Sales, etc.). He/she is expected to have regular contact and meetings with Directors and above, therefore, must feel comfortable presenting to upper management in a clear, concise manner.

Fundamental Components:


  • Support the business strategic planning efforts & identify specific outsourcing opportunities

  • Conduct market research & identify potential vendors

  • Create RFPs/RFIs documents to outsource & award the business opportunity - - Help source and prioritize new partnership opportunities to support new business areas


  • Ensure that the contracts & SoWs are executed in a timely fashion

  • Work Security & Compliance teams to ensure vendors are strictly following Aetnas privacy guidelines

  • Support the business outsourced fulfillment program / vendor management


  • Partner with senior management to develop business process specific performance metrics, KPIs & SLAs

  • Create Balanced Scorecard & organize Quarterly Business Reviews with the vendors & stakeholders

  • Manage contracted work with vendors with defined deadlines and budget (including defining the scope of work, creating reporting dashboards and managing the day-to-day execution)


    Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources.

    Proven negotiation skills.

    Experience includes development and management of multiple budgets related to various projects and or program.

    Proven project management skills.

    Required: 3 - 5 years of work experience with a Tier1 or Tier 2 BPO vendor in operations, project/program management and business development. Experience with US Healthcare & Insurance industry is highly desirable

    Required: 3 - 5 years of work experience with procurement & contracting, security & compliance, SLAs, performance metrics, QBR, RFPs/RFIs

    Required: Knowledge and experience across various sectors within the healthcare industry. Ability to manage work independently end-to-end, make independent decisions, and meet milestones and provide deliverables on time.


    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
