POSITION SUMMARY

The Data Configuration Coordinator is a highly visible, critical role at ActiveHealth. You will work with all levels of people across the organization, including senior leadership. Most critical to your role will be partnering with the Implementation Manager to develop the client relationship during the implementation. After the sale is completed, the Implementation Team becomes the face of ActiveHealth for the client, and their primary resource. You will need to be confident and professional in your approach in order to build the foundation for a long ActiveHealth relationship with our new clients.

For new client implementations, the Data Configuration Coordinator has two primary roles: First is to facilitate the procurement of vendor data (eligibility, claims) between our data ingest group and client vendors; and secondly is to configure Admin Suite and ActiveAdvice applications.

Fundamental Components:

This is a client facing position, not an IT data / programming role. This is a highly visible position both internally and externally.

This position will partner with an Implementation Manager to set up new clients and make configuration changes to existing clients. Working as a team, the Implementation Manager and Data Configuration Coordinator are responsible for defining project milestones, keeping the implementations on track to those milestones, and ensure all primary systems are configured so all products are active by the client go-live date.

Another key requirement of the position is to meet with the client throughout the implementation and are expected to be comfortable in a client facing role, while taking the lead from the Implementation Manager, who serves as the overall project manager. You will be working with multiple internal departments to ensure that data is received in accordance with the project plan. This part of the role is a liaison effort - you facilitate the discussions between the client, all the data vendors, and the internal data ingest group; part of that facilitation includes working with AHM legal to ensure the necessary data sharing agreements are properly executed.

Once all the product determinations are made during the implementation, you will be responsible for configuring our two primary internal systems - Admin Suite and ActiveAdvice. These systems are mature software, and no programming is required - this position configures pre-populated fields within these systems with specific client detail about products purchased, account structure, client information, etc.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of Managed Health Care experience with Wellness, Well-being, programs.

  • Proven ability to engage cross functional internal departments.

  • Excellent communication experience . able to speak publicly, confidently regarding the required work.

  • Ability to prioritize work and perform independently.

  • Comfort engaging the highest levels of the organization. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.

  • Comfort with task-based configuration work.

  • Advanced MS Excel experience.

    EDUCATION

    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • This position is office base, must be a near an Aetna office. Preferred locations are Hartford, CT, New York City, NY and Wellesley, MA.

  • Current Aetna Employees who are a work from home status, may keep that work status.

  • Travel requirement is up to 25%, especially if not located near the preferred locations.
