POSITION SUMMARY

Finance position performing complex assignments requiring analytical and technical skills, with additional emphasis on strong communication skills and the ability to navigate through various levels of the organization.

Fundamental Components:

*Evaluate, analyze and present monthly financial results relative to plans and goals and other benchmark data to Director andHealth Plan CFO .

*Provide forecast reporting and support for the Commercial Group book of business to Director and Health Plan CFO, with the goal of delivering a sound budget.

*Conduct analysis and or produce reports on an ad-hoc basisfor strategic needs of market in support of the Director and Health Plan CFO.Partner with market Finance teams, Actuarial, Underwriting, MEU and Sales teamsto drive results and business initiatives.

*Candidate should exhibit strong written and oral communication skills and be confident meeting with Health Plan CFO and market leadership team to solicit financial information to help construct forecasts or explain financial results.

*Candidate should have experience in variancereporting explaining the drivers of favorable or unfavorable results.

*System skills need to include strong excel and if possible Hyperion Smart View. Strong systems aptitude.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

2 years finance related experience, healthcare a plus (generally required).

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
