Job Description

This manager position within the Corporate Shared Service expense management team will help in the management of Enterprise selling, general & administrative (SG&A) expenses; working primarily with organization leaders within the Finance, Enterprise, and other "non-business" areas.

Responsible for coordinating and supervising financial budgeting, forecasting and planning functions. Generally directs a group of financial consultants/analysts. May be process or project leader without supervisory responsibilities. Participate in Finance function and multi-functional projects.

Fundamental Components included but are not limited to:

  • Take on a lead role for the entire Budgeting/Forecasting process for assigned area from beginning to end which includes, but not limited to, communicating guidance to senior management, coordinating the collection of budget/forecast inputs, analyzing submissions and understanding budget changes, reporting submission to senior management & internal management teams

  • Report monthly SG&A results to Enterprise senior management, summarize business drivers behind financial results and offer insightful analysis to help business leader execute their business priorities and objectives within the boundaries of their budgets

  • Manage & coach team members in the review of monthly variances to Budget/Forecast, lead team in the review of expenses and help team members research discrepancies to identify trends and business drivers

  • Review & post journal entries (accruals, pre-paids, expense transfers) prepared by team members and post to the General Ledger as part of the month-end close process

  • Manage & maintain an appropriate cost center structure to help organize and track G&A expenses

  • Ability to independently identify & resolve highly complex problems/tasks

Qualifications Requirements and Preferences:

Experience with forecasting and financial modeling required. Project management experience. 5-8 years of significant/pertinent financial planning and analysis experience, including management experience. Finance or Accounting degree a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science or similar disciplines required.
