Family Summary/MissionUses statistical predictive modeling to evaluate scenarios and make predictions on future outcomes in order to solve highly complex business problems and support decision making. Analyzes very large data sets in real time databases and develops and implements mathematical approaches.Position Summary/MissionApplies experience from strategy consulting, analytics, and data engineering to successfully act as the product owner for multiple analytics initiatives. Regarded as a specialist with deep content growth analytics.Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements include but are not limited to
(* denotes essential functions)• Acts as an growth analytics product owner including supporting acquisition strategy, targeting, test design and reporting/optimization• Ability to structure data analysis, driving analytics insights and analytical solutions to drive sales and marketing• Understanding key drivers of business value and how to grow topline revenue through marketing and sales acquisition• Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions and appropriate models to suggest to data scientists• Acts a key contact for business stakeholders and able to present recommendations to senior leadership• Collaborates with business partners to understand their problems and goals, develop predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports and performance metrics.• Mentors more junior team members• Leads development of solutions with high complexity and risk. Background/Experience Desired• Minimum 7 years total business experience• 4 years of experience in marketing and sales analytics at large companies• 3 years of experience programming using R, Hadoop, or Python• 4 years of business experience leading analyses and initiatives with track record of business impact• 2+ years of people management experience• Healthcare sector experience preferred• Demonstrates strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners.Education and Certification RequirementsBachelor degree in quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Master's degree in quantitative field or MBA strongly preferred.
