Responsible for the successful delivery of analyses and analytic solutions to meet business needs, interacting directly with end-users and colleagues. Ideal candidate will proactively lead a program and/or most complex projects by setting strategic direction and will be very comfortable creating and maintaining universes, reports, Publications and dashboards within SAP Business Objects. The ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment and a passion for exceeding users expectations are key qualities to be successful in this role.

Fundamental Components:

Proactively leads a program and/or most complex projects by setting strategic direction.

Responsible for providing oversight and supervision to external vendors, external consultants, consulting team members and/or matrixed staff as required in support of initiatives.

Accountable for transferring knowledge, best practices (external and internal), methodology and tools to client organizations.

May be responsible for concurrent initiatives as team lead and/or team member, based on resource requirements

Expert in performing business analysis functions such as process mapping, gathering reporting requirements, creating business/functional requirement specifications.

In-depth knowledge of BI 4.x environments, Design Tools (IDT and UDT) and Web Intelligence (WebI).

Experience in CMC to monitor and setting up the security model to manage access privileges.

Responsible for building the new Universe and enhancing the existing Universe and building reports and Testing, Scheduling and Publishing the report on fixed schedules.

Managing Promotions of Reports / Universes through the Development, Test, Production process (DEV-QA-PROD)

Strong Working knowledge of various database connection setups through Business Objects client tools.

Knowledge on creating dashboards using SAP Business Objects Dashboards

Experience in implementing best practices, including error handling, alerting and scheduling

Proficient in SQL and have a solid understanding of data modeling and databases and will be able to collaborate and design the back end data model that suit the reporting needs (Knowledge in DB2 is a Plus)

Competent to work with minimal supervision in a technical capacity on most phases of report development.

Provide assistance and support to end-users for addressing their ad-hoc needs.


Demonstrated extensive and diverse knowledge of health care data, metrics, systems and standards; demonstrated subject matter expert in multiple subjects.

Strong knowledge of health care claims, products, and systems.

Experience working with Healthcare or Pharmacy industry.

Strong problem solving, analytical, and project management skills.

Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Able to present information to various audiences.

This position requires heavy hands-on development/ programming experience on the BOU reports.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
