Aetna Program Business Analyst in Hartford, Connecticut

Job Description

Identifies, creates and executes specific deliverables and activities as part of the Enterprise Contract Obligation Management (ECOM) team.

Fundamental Components included but are not limited to:

Consistently performs analysis and translates business needs to create high-quality Business Requirements within specified time frames to solve most complex problems (multiple interfaces with other systems across multiple business units) considering all impacted components from an end-to-end perspective. Interfaces with both the business and IT, creates current and future state process flows, identifies opportunities for process improvement. Understands capabilities and limitations of new software and takes that into account when developing future state process flows. Partnership with the business to identify potential business benefits. Assists with UAT/defect tracking and triage. Helps with the creation of standard operating procedures, as necessary. Define data requirements, identify conditionality of data, and create data mapping document.

Qualifications Requirements and Preferences:

Ability to recognize complex problems vs. objectives and apply creativity to analyze situations, develop solutions and procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 10+ years Business Analyst experience and prior experience with large, complex business/IT software implementation.
