POSITION SUMMARY

The Clinical Platform Project Manager supports the Utilization Management project team (Agile Release) to implement a new strategic Care Management platform. Manage cross-team activities, including interactions with other teams / trains on the program as well as key interaction points with UM operations.

Opportunity to work on a multi-year, strategic initiative to enhance the enterprise Care Management platform.

Fundamental Components:

  • Manage cross-train initiatives including identifying and managing intra-train and inter-train dependencies and assumptions

  • Lead interactions with UM Operations team, coordinating across UM scrum teams as needed to support readiness activities

  • Serve as a point of contact for migration activities for Utilization Management

  • Lead integration of new lines of business into train activities

  • Manage key train-level decisions and risks

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • 6+ years of Project Management experience, full-life cycle experience.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology

  • Proven track record in meeting project milestones

  • Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Proven experience with creating client's business requirements and able to provide clarification.

  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving experience

  • Proven ability to manage across teams and resources who are not direct reports, able to manage cross functional teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work of self and others effectively

  • Experience in Utilization Management is preferred

  • Experience with Vendor Management is preferred

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

PMP certification is preferred
