Quality Management Graduate Internship Start date: June 3rd, 2019  End Date: August 9th, 2019    What it is 

Aetna's Graduate Summer Associate Program was established to identify and develop talent for leadership positions throughout the company. This program is designed to attract high potential graduate students by offering challenging assignments reflective of regular full-time positions.

Our Summer Associate Programs are a great way to gain confidence, sharpen your skills and make a difference. Many of our Summer Associates are offered jobs with Aetna after graduation.

This position will support National Quality Management Digital Communication efforts and will aid in the strategy, design and execution of our overall quality improvement communications programs. Location: Considered for any US location; training period in the office may be required

What will you do? You will translate organizational strategies into clear objectives and business action. You will avoid surprises by anticipating problems and develop contingency plans to manage them. Prepare realistic estimates of budget, staff, and other resources. You will use deep insight into competitions' strengths, weaknesses and strategies to drive decision-making. You will consider the end-to-end flow of the business and each area's contribution to Aetna's financial and competitive success. You will question processes and suggest improvements.

Use data to make convincing business arguments by presenting the logical flow of data, interpretations, conclusions and resulting recommendations. What do you bring? Good written and verbal communication skills; Able to document and present information to various audiences and work in a team environment Ability to navigate problems and roadblocks as they occur You re eligible to apply if you: Have completed your Bachelors degree and completed one year of a nationally or regionally ranked graduate program with an anticipated graduation date of December 2019 or Spring 2020 3-5 years of relevant work experience, education and/or career interest in the hiring area Have a current cumulative GPA and major GPA of 3.0+ Have a willingness to relocate (if applicable)  Have an interest in a full-time position with Aetna upon graduation
