POSITION SUMMARY

Direct interaction with business partners and end users to gather, understand, and define business requirements. Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions for our Network and Provider business partners.

Fundamental Components:

The Salesforce Business Analyst is a key member of our IT Delivery organization. In addition to being responsible for business analyses, the BA would work directly with the technology project team, architecture and business partners gathering requirements to drive delivery of technology best practice business changes. They work with senior members of the team ensuring the successful delivery of Salesforce.com implementation. They should have solid functional and/or industry knowledge, as well as Salesforce Service Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

Work with IT Delivery and Architecture team to maintain and coordinate communication with the business customer throughout the project lifecycle.

Agile methodology experience, fluent in user story creation, backlog grooming, agile toolset, and SAFe principles.

Thorough understanding and ability to configure functional (out-of-the-box) or technical (Customizations) Salesforce functionality

Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile inconsistency and break down high-level information into details.

Work with Architect and Developers to transform new requirements into Salesforce.com design and implementation.

Supports testing cycles (system, E2E, UAT, regression) and/or Training/Training Materials.

Develop and document work flow processes and procedures

Understand the integration and data consumption patterns between various systems

Assess change impact and guide impact analysis and project estimation activities

Research potential business requirement solutions using various resources, including, but not limited to, Salesforce.com.

Utilize acquired knowledge of Salesforce.com, Service Cloud product, and the business to analyze current business processes, suggest improvements, and participate in the implementation of new functionality

Serve as the primary point of contact for supported business systems, and perform functional and second-level technical support as needed

Create technical requirements for developers and provide suggestions during the development stage that meet the customer's business needs

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

5+ years Business Analyst experience

2 3 years of Salesforce hands-on experience

At minimum 2+ years working closely with a Salesforce Technical Architect/Lead in assisting the design and development recommendations in line with Salesforce Best Practices and have experience reviewing code test coverage.

Must have strong Salesforce Lightning knowledge/experience

Salesforce certification (Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer)

Must possess sound knowledge of Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies inclusive of IBM RTC toolsets to manage backlog (Epics, Features, Stories).

Ability to recognize complex problems vs. objectives and apply creativity to analyze situations, develop solutions and procedures.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
