We are currently looking for an exceptional Senior Business Analyst to be a part of the Payflex Data & Analytics Strategy team. This new organization works with business leaders to perform analysis that will inform key business decisions. The team is integral in assessing potential opportunities for the business and identifying key customer segments to target. The team works cross functionally to make sure each component of the PayFlex business is aligned on the strategic initiatives of the organization and that we are analyzing the most relevant information to ensure success.
PayFlex supports nearly three million members representing diverse industries, large and small, across the country. Our primary business since 1987 has been providing health care financial accounts services to plan sponsors and members. Over the last decade, weve strongly aligned with a major health plan to better understand the end to end consumer-directed experience. This has brought us a deeper understanding of our plan sponsor and members health care finance needs. This position is designed to support the growing need for data driven decision making. The successful candidate is responsible for the managing and executing on key project work that will ultimately allow the business to activate its data to provide critical insights for the entire organization. A successful candidate will be able to speak both the technical and business language to effectively execute on projects that straddle both sides of the organization. They will have an immediate impact in the design and development of the analytics team process and procedures and will act as the analytic team lead on many key projects.
Thinks strategically and has ability to connect key business needs to correct and critical analysis needed to be successful Background in business effectiveness, finance, or strategic implementation Comfortable working with large data sets to report results and/or develop key findings to be reported to a variety of audiences Develops and/or uses statistical predictive models and determines analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes Interacts with internal peers and management to share highly complex information related to areas of expertise and/or to gain acceptance of new or enhanced technology / business solutions Experience in working with Data Warehouse teams Demonstrates strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners Develops customer and portfolio segmentation by applying different segmentation techniques Ability to work cross functionally is key to success Ability to work in ambiguous situations and develop projects and outcomes with very little information given Strong Access and Excel skills requiredTableau and/or salesforce good to haveSQL and SAS experience are good to have Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills Able to present information to various audiences
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
