The Senior Content Architects primary responsibility is to drive the growth of Aetnas commercial business by developing accurate, compelling, strategic proposal responses. They have excellent writing skills that allow them to integrate information from multiple sources and create proposal responses for our content database that help differentiate Aetna from the competition. The successful candidate has the ability to influence key partners in order to gather strategic information, is creative, takes initiative and must be well organized and able to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
We are looking for self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast paced environment where excellent teamwork and strong collaborative relationships are imperative. This position is a good match for a candidate with strong health care and insurance knowledge who wants to apply it to the creation of high quality proposal content . This is not a technical writer or marketing writing position.
We are seeking candidates with experience in marketing, communications and/or proposal writing. The ability to know what information to gather from subject matter experts and organize it to create well-articulated proposal responses is critical to success. The position requires an individual who can communicate effectively with all audiences and in any setting, assimilate and re-state large amounts of information, and build and maintain strong relationships with subject matter experts throughout the company. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and internet navigation is required. A college degree is required. The ability to reflect the Aetna Brand along with principles of grammar, mechanics, and spelling in written work is critical.
4+ years of Proposal Writer experience.
*The highest level of proficiency in writing skills.
Previous RFP writing experience.
Experience managing multiple priorities.
Ability to think outside of the box and lead solutions to problem.
Strong relationship building skills - Effective working in a team environment, able to work with cross functional team members.
Previous writing experience within the health insurance industry.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
