This position is critical for providing a wide variety of administrative support functions for the leadership team of the Value Based Solutions and Medicare Network Operations department.
The Sr. Administrative Assistant will report to the Executive Director who supports the West Territory leadership, but will provide broad support for the department.
Serve as delegate for Manager Activities in eService/UltiPro (HR changes, Time and Attendance, travel arrangement and expenses, etc.)
Collect, compile, and analyze data and provide summaries and observations to managers
Perform event management activities such as reserving conference rooms, ensuring rooms have audio/visual/electrical equipment needed, ordering/reserving meals, ensuring building and parking access, etc.
Help schedule and coordinate complex meetings that require several busy executives
Coordinate office facilities including space, lease, furniture, equipment, telephone and supplies
Involved in HR activities for the unit including job posting, new hire installation, office setup, annual comp process, organization hierarchy
Coordinate schedules with other administrative support ensure daily on-site coverage in Hartford
Maintain departmental materials such as list of employees and organization charts
Order supplies and help ensure proper functioning of equipment such as copiers
Assist with special projects (e.g., developing department SharePoint or Unily site)
1-3 years work experience, such as administrative or technical support experience
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel advanced skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentations for all levels of management
Strong attention to detail
Ability to influence diverse teams and build strong relationships
Demonstrated proactive, creative strategic/systemic thinking
College degree preferred, high school diploma required
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.
