The Analytics Lead will play a critical role in the development of Aetnas reimagined service platform (ASD reimagined) by bringing cutting-edge analytics from across the organization into Aetnas new service platform. This individual will be tasked with deploying the analytic strategy for the service platform, driving the incorporation of analytics into the platform, evaluating success, and collaborating for continual innovation and improvement of the service platform.

Fundamental Components:

Develop segments, metrics, and reports from current ASD, Navigator and email data to support data based decision making in design

Advanced ability to manipulate data, understand patterns, and draw conclusions in a hypothesis driven approach to analysis

Define overall strategy for service platform analytics

Collaborate with all consumers of contact center data to ensure their on-going data needs are met

Present analysis based strategy and make recommendations to project team, ensure that high value objectives are being driven forward

Manage and support analytics dictionary/knowledge base; help develop training to support a data-driven culture

Troubleshoot and quantify member feedback data; synthesize user feedback and pair with quantitative data to determine impact

Move beyond historical reporting to more predictive analysis; enabling greater prediction and ability to turn data into information

Provide actionable recommendations given the constraints faced by teams

Support A/B testing measuring pilots to find optimal solutions

Define requirements of new system in terms of analytics capabilities

Design metrics tracking to align against strategic priorities and implement performance dashboards

Assist in supporting strategy with analysis and data to articulate value of strategy

May assist with AVA/IVR Unified Communications efforts as needed.


Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources.

Proven negotiation skills.

Experience includes development and management of multiple budgets related to various projects and or program.

Proven project management skills.

Proficient understanding of warehousing structure, query languages

SAS and/or Tableau

Experience with Aetnas analytics data platform and/or Hadoop desired

Strong analytics background/evidence of an advanced analytics ability; demonstrated by work background OR undergraduate degree

Evidence of being able to turn analysis into strategy and recommendations

Excel at presenting complex data to non-analytical audiences

SAFe Agile knowledge and experience desired

Salesforce knowledge a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

Strong collaboration and communication skills


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
