We are seeking self-motivated, energetic, detail oriented, highly organized, tech-savvy Registered Nurses to join our Workers Compensation Field Case Management team. This opportunity offers a competitive salary, full benefits, and a performance-based bonus paid out on a monthly or quarterly basis.

POSITION SUMMARYWork from home, includes daily travel around a multi-county area of West Michigan to facilitate client participation in medical treatment plans towards full rehabilitation. Case Manager coordinates and attends appointments with clients and providers, problem solves clinical issues as well as maintain ethical standards in all case management activities.

Fundamental Components but not limited to the following:

  • Requires a valid State of MI Registered Nurse license, is without open formal complaints or disciplinary action.

  • Must reside in western Michigan / greater Grand Rapids area.

    -Must have excellent communication skills including ability to problem solve with others.

  • Requires strong knowledge of clinical protocols and ability to problem solving clinical issues

  • Requires organizational skills including ability to independently prioritize issues and coordinate own schedule

  • Be able to multi-task and have strong computer / technology skills

  • Requires flexible work schedule including occasionally before 8 am and after 5 pm weekdays and weekends as needed. Stipend provided for working Catastrophic referrals after regular business hours/weekends.

  • Must have a reliable car and be willing to travel 100 - 200 miles per day, 5 days per week. Mileage reimbursement provided.

  • Must have a secure workspace at home to work uninterrupted, access to high speed internet, and ability to have private conversations without violating HIPPA standards.

    About 50% of time spent traveling and attending appointments with clients and medical providers to review medical status and ensure provider is following clinical protocols per the diagnosis. 25% of time spent arranging, facilitating and confirming client participation in appropriate treatment plan. 25% of time spent documenting activities and making recommendations.


    3+ years case management experience.

    5 years clinical RN practice experience.

    Ability to travel within a designated geographic area for in-person case management activities

    Bilingual preferred

    Knowledge of laws and regulations governing delivery of rehabilitation services.

    Job-specific technical knowledge, (e.g., knowledge of workers compensation and disability industry for workers compensation case managers or case management).

    Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

    Effective communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work independently (may require working from home).

    Proficiency with standard corporate software applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, as well as some special proprietary applications.

    Effective computer skills including navigating multiple systems and keyboarding


    The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is an Associate's degree or equivalent experience.


    Nursing/Registered Nurse is required

    Nursing/Certified Case Manager (CCM) is desired

    Candidate is able to work independently, will schedule and maintain flexible work hours. You are in charge of your schedule and set your own priorities, every day is different from the previous. The Field Case Manager will use their clinical skills in field setting including with clients at their home, at employer offices and in physician offices. Will receive mileage reimbursement, and a monthly bonus available for work over minimum requirement.
