POSITION SUMMARY

Supports the Eligibility department for assigned accounts.

Administers Eligibility in accordance with groups individual plans.

Provide customer service support to members, clients and internal departments.

FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS

Provide customer service support to members, dependents, clients and internal departments.

Maintain current knowledge of tools and resources to administer plan benefits to members.

Process elections, reinstatements, terminations and other plan specific functions.

Gain an understanding of interaction between internal departments, outside vendors, and brokers and the impact each plays in the Eligibility process.

Work closely with COBRA department.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including articulation, spelling, grammar, proofreading, and telephone skills.

Strong mathematical skills.

Experience with Word and Excel.

Data entry skills.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
