POSITION SUMMARY

Located in MD

This role will be responsible for defining, developing and providing information and analysis that drive the decision-making process and support business and regulatory operation tied to specific department initiatives or for enterprise-wide projects. This individual will provide direction to team members, ensuring effective teamwork, communication, high standards of work quality organizational performance while encourage innovation in others.

Fundamental Components:

Responsible for managing, directing and planning multiple complex projects that are primarily department focused.

Conducts research into assigned areas to ensure department projects takes into account developments within the industry, corporate policies and practices, legislation and potential impact on key initiatives by other departments.

Works with advisers from key functional areas to understand potential project impact on the organization, negotiate resources, align project work, and execute activities accordingly.

Oversees the analysis, planning, design and development being performed by team members, including work of various work streams.

Influences change or enhancements to business processes, policies and system infrastructure to improve information quality, availability and access and to address process or quality improvement.

Proactively evaluates project activities, builds contingency plans, executes corrective action, and monitors issue resolution to mitigate risks such as scope and/or budget variances.

Prepare weekly project reporting, including project dashboards, status summary, milestones report.

Reviews consultant and/or contractor deliverables and/or work product (as needed)

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

5-7 years of demonstrated leadership.

5-7 years of project/program/process management experience

5-7 years of data interpretation and analysis experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong disciplined approach to accountability.

Ability to collaboratively identify problem(s), resolve and move forward.

Strong industry knowledge in healthcare and the TPA environment.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
