POSITION SUMMARY

We are hiring a Database Administrator for our Microsoft SQL Server Team. This is a strategic position providing key direction and development on American Health Holding projects and deliverables. If you have innovative mentality with SQL Server skills then we want to hear from you!

Will be key member of American Health Holding, the team is responsible for 24/7/365 support of the all the applications for the company. The team also monitors and ensures that all our client data requirements are processing per the defined SLAs.

Fundamental Components:

Database Developer possessing solid design and database administration skills. Support focuses on the design, implementation, and maintenance of physical data models and databases. Key activities include access method analysis, application consulting, performance tuning, device allocation, data organization, security, and statistical methods, including the development and monitoring of standards and procedures affecting models, database management, design and maintenance. Proficient in the utilization of DBA toolsets and more than one DBMS. Exhibits very strong technical or leadership skills.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

8+ years of relevant experience with concentration in Database Analysis, Design, and Development 6+ years of experience in T-SQL development Experience with SSIS packages, SSRS and SSAS Must have extensive database modeling, design, development, and maintenance experience. Proven experience with dimensional databases including SQL Server 2008/2012. Skilled in both Data Warehouse and Transactional databases. Strong background in schema design and development. Extensive Stored Procedure development Solid skills in database performance fine tuning and optimizing poorly performing queries, stored procedures Model and generate database structures Experience developing SSIS ETL packages supporting database to database activities. Support day to day production inquiries and questions from other technology groups. Address data quality issues; work with business partners to build business understanding of data issues. Handle individual workload and deliver upon project milestones on time and on budget. Skilled in developing dimensional databases and data cubes Proven experience with SQL Server Analysis Services. Proven experience with SQL Server Reporting Services. Ability to design unit and system test plans, and execute testing. Extensive database administration experience Excellent communicator both verbally and written with coordination and facilitation skills. Ability to multi-task and complete in a timely manner multiple assignments. Handle backups and restores On call responsibilities Rights administration Production bug fix issues

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Information Technology/Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is desired
