POSITION SUMMARY

The Medicare Retention Specialist is accountable for collaborating and developing Local Market retention strategies. The position is responsible for Medicare member retentions and senior community development.

Fundamental Components:

Responsible for meeting Medicare member retention goals for the Ohio and Kentucky markets. Conduct member meetings, engaging in Provider Collaboration opportunities, review and collaborative development of member materials/communications, attending events, training (FSR, BM, brokers). Analyze the membership data to produce reporting and proposal for retention activities that mitigate lapses. Strategize and plan locations, topics and audience for member events. Prepare and manage the delivery of all materials and giveaways for local events. Serve as liaison to member experience committee. Secure and manage corporate shared services supporting the local events.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Minimum 1 to 3 years Medicare Advantage experience required. Member retention experience preferred. Marketing experience is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and corporate applications. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management. Ohio Life and Health license and Kentucky non-resident license required.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
