As a part of the Program Management Office, this position will share accountability for the plan sponsor implementation of the Aetna One Advocate Program. The Project Manager will collaborate across several different work streams to ensure the integration of our clinical and service advocates and the successful launch of the program to our key national account plan sponsors.
Works with the PMO to develop and implements strategic project plans to achieve business goals
Proactively leads project and/or business by setting direction of project, creating project plan, timeline identifying key milestones and additional resources needed on selected project(s)
Participates in the documentation of operation workflows and identifies improvements and enhancements that reflect the goals of the Aetna One Advocate program
Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization
Collaborates across the clinical and service work streams to ensure an integrated operating model across the blended pod staff
Solicits and evaluates internal and external customer feedback to enhance continuous quality improvement
Takes a leadership role in coordinating customer site visits for Aetna One Advocate finalist meetings and plan sponsor visits
Identifies issues that may stall project and addresses them by either resolving the issue or creating an alternative solution
Tracks progress and communicates project(s) status on a regular basis to all impacted parties
Builds communication plans for implementation to ensure all impacted parties (up stream/down stream) are informed of next steps for completion
Acts as an advocate for change may require influencing others to see the value in project, including managing interpersonal sensitivities and articulating the strategic view to ensure project alignment
Keeps the overarching goal of an integrated clinical and service model in the strategic view to keep program integrity
3-5 years related work experience.
Proven track record meeting project dates.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
