POSITION SUMMARY

As a member of a leading Healthcare Organization, you will use skills to analyze and provide insights to support business decision-making to improve engagement and performance.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Informatics Lead Analyst to join our fast-paced team in High Point, NC/Chantilly VA to take the role of Lead Analyst/Engagement Coordinator. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data using Excel, SQL, statistical analysis software (Minitab preferred) and other methods and provide data and statistical analysis to support our Performance Management and Finance teams.

In this position you will develop insights to support business decision-making and to improve engagement and performance. This involves extracting, collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to address business questions and to help monitor and improve engagement, performance, program delivery and design. These activities require technical, analytical, organizational and communication skills. The candidate must be able to work effectively in this type of environment and be able to coordinate work assignments appropriately as well as proactively identify and communicate data, process and performance issues.

Your ability to identify trends, provide forecasts, detect issues and proactively propose solutions will help our organization succeed.

These activities require strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

  • Analyze data using Excel, Statistical Analysis Software, and/or other methods.

  • Provide statistical analysis to support decision making to improve engagement and performance.

  • Extracting, collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to address business needs using various methods such as SQL, Excel, etc.

  • Collecting, coordinating production or producing reports/data extracts to assist in the analysis, evaluation and optimization of engagement and performance.

  • Monitor and analyze key engagement and performance indicators.

  • Organize, update and maintain contractual requirement documents related to engagement and performance using available tools.

  • Effectively communicate with peers, other teams and senior management regarding analysis of data and findings.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of business analytics experience (health care preferred).

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, evaluate and improve business metrics and key performance indicators.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends, forecast and develop solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to senior management in written and verbal form.

  • Strong problem solving skills and critical thinking ability.

  • Able to make sound decisions and recommendations to drive business solutions.

  • Proficient in Excel, experience in statistical analysis and strong Microsoft Office skills required (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio).

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams.

  • Knowledge of analytic programming tools and methods (SQL, OLAP, Business Objects, Crystal).

  • Knowledge of other reporting platforms such as: Business Objects, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic.

  • Ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
