Aetna Lead UAT Support Specialist in New York, New York

This position will lead QA (Informatics business level UAT) and BA (Informatics Business requirements gathering) efforts. Assisting with both business requirement gathering and UAT business level QA/Testing.
50/50 QA&BA support-Plans, designs, develops, implements and administers integrated systems management and services support for the management of host, distributed and network resources, applications and computing operations.
Establishes, develops and maintains the tools, process and procedures used to manage the enterprise computing environment or changes to that environment.
Identifies and acts upon opportunities to improve computing availability, reliability, efficiency, performance and overall service within the enterprise computing environment.
Identifies, communicates and documents new processes and procedures resulting from integrated systems management and services support changes within the computing environment.
Maintains a high level of commitment and focus on customer requirements, presents new products and their usage to appropriate customer groups, targeting all communications accordingly.
Manages the introduction of technological, organizational, procedural or application change as it relates to integrated systems management and services support within the computing environment.
Initiates/leads special support and project activities to service customer needs and/or enhance procedures, work flow and new products.
Analyzes and assesses changes to processes, organization, or infrastructure, as well as new or upgraded technology or products and implements appropriate integrated systems management and services solutions.
Provides tool and product training support as required to appropriate customer groups. Also develops specialized training material.
Identifies, resolves and manages problems and escalates to management as defined in unit guidelines.
Develops and contributes to unit metrics and reporting responsibilities as defined within the unit.
Provides organizational support for planning and financials related to integrated systems management products and resources.
Provides support for organizational planning alignment to Enterprise level direction, strategy and governance programs.
Provides direction and support to all team members. Serves as escalation point as outlined in unit guidelines.
Prioritizes and monitors team workload and assigns tasks to team members as appropriate.
Provides input to education and training plan for team members.
May participate in new hire selection process and outside consultant acquisitions.

Telework approved - ideally located near our hub locations of Pittsburgh, PA, Blue Bell, PA, New York, NY, but open to any location. Will work standard East Coast business hours.

In depth knowledge of computing environments (mainframe, midrange, distributed, desktop), infrastructure components, networks, environmental hardware and software.
