As a Product Analyst at Aetna Digital you will work in a fast-paced environment and will carry the responsibility to manage key components of an advanced digital services platform. You will be expected to collaborate very closely with other Product Managers and Product Owners in a fully scaled agile environment. You will work closely with senior leaders to ensure that investments are aligned to the organizations strategic goals and you will manage the feature backlog accordingly. You will be guiding multiple scrum teams with representation from architecture, user experience design, test, dev/ops, and more.
This role affords you the opportunity to expand your skills by working alongside talented and passionate teammates from diverse backgrounds. You will be expected to contribute in one or more of the following areas: Platforms, tools, services that help to discover and expose actionable analytics, hybrid/multi-cloud architecture platforms, processes to support Application Developers as they develop and deploy hybrid/native apps, work closely with clinical and business teams to understand requirements, drive product plans and priorities. You will leverage the services of Aetna partners, wearable devices, content providers and the broader health care ecosystem, and deliver innovative capabilities utilizing Aetnas compelling intellectual property.
Develops solutions which are consistent with organizational objective
Decompose high-level requirements into user stories and tasks, manage and prioritize the product backlog and participate in scrum ceremonies
Partner with engineering team to define, track and test user stories in an agile software development life-cycle
Work with program management to track schedule against the roadmap and escalate risks and issues
Perform industry research on a regular basis to support feature development and assesses competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
Understand customer needs, competitive landscape and the latest healthcare trends
Digital healthcare experience highly desired
Passion for health and wellness and Aetna Digital mission
3+ years of experience, particularly in product management and product development
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to deliver convincing business case recommendations
Demonstrated collaborative style, with ability to lead and influence diverse teams
Strong critical thinker who makes balanced, insightful decisions
Maintain strong relationships across key stakeholders and constituents
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
