Aetna Senior Clinical / Health Care Project Coordinator in New York, New York

The Data Strategy and Data Ingestion Team is responsible for supporting the conversion and migration to Aetnas Next Generation Clinical Platform (MedCompass) and Data Governance Process. This positions key responsibilities include, but are not limited to working with cross-functional members to define and deploy business requirements to support migrations to the platform, understanding and supporting cross-program data and data implications to the platform, migrating from batch to real time data integrations and defining and managing a data governance process
Manages and oversees all facets of projects including objective setting, planning, consultation with business stakeholders, progress tracking, implementation, status updates and communication, etc. Employs project management disciplines and methodologies to drives process improvement activities and initiatives.
Communicates project objectives, prioritizes and coordinates efforts, negotiates resources and time to ensure end-state projects are delivered timely and meet the business objective(s).
Applies critical thinking to identify, develop and vet win-win solutions in collaboration with business partners.
Champions change efforts.
Exhibits flexibility to adjust to tight deadlines and changing project requirements.
Prepares documentation to support all phases of projects (planning, tracking, communications, etc).
Previous Project Coordinator or Project Management experience.
Previous software implementation experience
Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources.
Proven communication skills both written and verbal
Past experience includes development of budgets
Past positions required acting a project lead and directing a team
Proven ability to affect change/interpersonal skills
Agile methods experience
Good business acumen skills
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Flexible telework / office-based schedule (near any office location)
