POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Client Management will oversee a regional team of client management professionals. He or she will focus on all aspects of client and team leadership including but not limited to developing client & consultant partnerships in the market, overall client experience and satisfaction, achieving client management retention and revenue growth goals, team training & development, expense management, forecasting , sales support while building a strong market presence.

Fundamental Components:

Develops self-funded business strategies to successfully manage overarching team renewal strategies to ensure customer satisfaction. Implements operational plans in support customer satisfaction, revenue, and earnings objectives. Supports team in developing productive and collaborative internal partnerships to create a comprehensive growth and service strategy for an assigned region. Ensures alignment with customers objectives, financial position, and employee benefit strategy while providing cross-sell opportunities and profitable revenue and growth. Regularly provides updates as a member of the client management leadership team. Manages, develops, and cultivates relationships with constituents as appropriate. Partners with team members as appropriate in meetings with clients to professionally represent Meritain & Aetna in the marketplace; articulates how Meritain's products and services can contribute to clients objectives. Recruits, develops and retains a diverse workforce. Sets, communicates, implements, and monitors performance metrics within assigned team; aligns assigned performance measures with company

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

7-10 years progressively responsible account management and staff management experience (management of account managers, including hiring and developing/motivating staff, setting and implementing strategies. goals, direction) within the health insurance industry.

Must have self-funded experience.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Insurance/Insurance License is desired
