POSITION SUMMARY

Develop, install and support electronic training tools and programs, using a variety of authoring software tools, which are enabled in Aetna's technological architecture and effectively train appeal and grievance staff audiences in a cost effective, educationally-sound manner to achieve Aetna's business goals.

Fundamental Components:

Utilizes desktop technology to offer a broad range of presentation and delivery strategies, including self-paced video, audio, simulations and scenarios, to develop curriculum for the Intranet as needed. Responsible for the development, roll out/ implementation and ongoing maintenance of the A&G online resource guide for all Medicaid A&G staff. Responsible for the development, roll out/implementation and ongoing maintenance of A&G oversight team training materials. Performs quality reviews to ensure program meets quality and design standards Effectively integrates programs into Aetna's technological architecture and learning management system. Researches new eLearning tools and evaluates such technologies for support of training initiatives to improve and facilitate the design and development of Aetna eLearning programs. May deliver training in person as needed. Other projects as assigned.

Background Experience:

Strong technical/software skills (Microsoft suite, Dreamweaver, Front Page, Authorware, Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Audio and Graphic software). JavaScript and/or experience in web development, design and graphic design.

Education:

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

This is a position will solution for technology based training and will also participate in the development of A&G program training materials. It is a fast paced team with lots of exposure to all of the Medicaid health plans.
