Job Description

Senior Human Resources Consultant

Provide broad scale Human Resource consulting to Aetna managers and supervisors in the Aetna Medicaid business. Consult with managers and supervisors on key HR processes and programs, assess key trends, and align appropriate outreach and interventions

Fundamental Components included but are not limited to:

  • Change management; influence others

  • Organization design and development

  • Gets more out of fewer resources, effectively manages ambiguity

  • Highly skilled at relationship building

  • New leader, team assimilations

  • Emotional intelligence; self-aware

Qualifications Requirements and Preferences:

  • Counted on as lead for projects

  • Mentoring HR Consultants

  • Though talent cycle, conduct OTRs and calibration sessions. Consult with managers during compensation planning

  • Lead a cross-functional team on a HR initiative (e.g. job family reviews/FLSA status review)

  • Design/implement/lead a targeted talent development initiative in an organization

  • Relationship building with a client - through time and experience, become a trusted advisor

  • Develop, analyze and recommend advanced HR reporting for team

  • Utilize talent management assessments (e.g. DISC, Voices) to drive talent development needs

  • Performance management

  • Work on employee engagement survey action plans

  • Exposure to businesses outside of their client alignments
