This position supports the Aetna Medicare Part D business segments ability to achieve its financial and strategic goals by applying analytic expertise to address complex business issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting network contract analysis, competitive analysis, financial reconciliations, strategic initiatives, and reporting activities for the MAPD and PDP business.
Assist in the review and analysis of competitive intelligence to support strategic business objectives.
Participate in and provide actuarial analysis and support to various business segment initiatives.
Integrate understanding of internal and external data sources for quantifying risks and opportunities.
Understand and communicate financial impact to management.
Develop and produce creative solutions and reporting for a variety of business objectives
Turn data into information: understand emerging results to drive business initiatives.
Bachelor's degree along with 5+ years Medicare or pharmacy experience
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and business acumen skills
Strong technical skills; Excel, SAS
Exhibit innovative use of resources
Familiarity with Medicare Part D and pharmacy network contracting
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
