POSITION SUMMARY

This role will drive the strategic direction of a new products, integrate the product portfolio, and drive client adoption. The candidate will work closely with leadership, development, quality assurance and operational teams to create valuable, high-quality software in support of company priorities.

Fundamental Components:

Responsibilities to include (but not limited to):

Responsible for the strategic vision, tactical and strategic planning and execution of corporate product strategy for all analytic product suites and foundational data services.

Owner of the informatics product strategy including business case and product road map. Leads product management teams to determine each products vision and strategy, define tactical steps and monitor execution from product inception to successful roll-out and commercialization

Oversees development of new features by software developers in an agile development environment. Lead product owners through the development of proposed new product business cases, ROI analysis, requirements definitions, commercialization planning, pricing and P&L management.

Commercializes the resulting product via an effective product marketing strategy working collaboratively with sales and marketing teams. This includes marketing, positioning, pricing, training, internal and customer facing documentation and internal launch preparations for complex, multi-faceted product releases.

Institute industry best in class product management practices to reduce product success variance and maximize efficiency through all stages of the product life cycle

Monitor industry trends, competitive capabilities and identify disruptors in order to position solutions and inform product strategy.

The candidate must have:

Strong background in product strategy, product launches and commercialization

Strong product management skills, strong technical knowledge of products and technical systems.

Demonstrated ability to design, prioritize and allocate work for a team of developers.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE

Demonstrated understanding of technology and how it can be applied to solve business problems/provide technical solutions.

Effective communication/influencing skills applied to broad internal/external audience.

Demonstrated success with process improvement and project management initiatives.

5+ years experience in Healthcare and/or Employee Benefits arena.

Product development and/or management experience preferred.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
