Consumer Health & Services is a newly formed division of Aetna with the ambition of improving health and reducing costs for everyone through world-class digital products based on cutting edge analytics to influence consumer and provider behavior.
One of the company s highest priority initiatives is to create new consumer-facing applications that are data-driven and real-time to help achieve better health and cost outcomes. This role will be front-and-center of this initiative in shaping and executing the product roadmap.
Aetna is looking for a Product Manager with experience working in a fast-paced, startup like environment to build best-in-class content and user experiences that solve important health, clinical, and care needs. This role will collaborate with other product managers and with other areas within Aetna.
Participate in strategic conversations regarding high-level feature roadmap
Own and prioritize team engineering roadmaps and handling live-site triage
Write detailed feature requirements and user stories
Define, instrument, measure, and communicate funnels and key metrics for feature success.
Work closely with engineering and other internal teams for on-time delivery of relevant features
Train and communicate platform features and value to internal and external partners
Add new value to a strong Product culture of continuous development and rapid testing and learning
Stay on top of all relevant healthcare and consumer technology trends, competitors, and market offerings
Minimum of 3-5 years in product management role shipping software through multiple releases
Background working for a healthcare company and/or a clinical field is desired
Minimum of three years in consumer facing products, with both mobile and web experience, is ideal
Background with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or other software development methodologies
Detail oriented, manages risk and deliverable timelines
Clear and compelling in written and spoken communication
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage simultaneously competing priorities
Proven success working collaboratively in a matrixed organization
Familiarity with JIRA or similar trackers a plus
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
