We are hiring an ETL Application Developer for our EDI team. This position will develop EDI solutions and maintain, implement, and troubleshoot client/vendor inbound/outbound files in a heterogeneous environment. The preferred candidate has experience managing work in this type of environment, working on multiple projects ,new implementations/new services, researching issues, and contributing to improved efficiencies.

EDI/ETL Application Developer possessing solid design and database administration skills. EDI Team focuses on the design using WTX and ETL tools (SSIS) , implementation, and maintenance of physical data models and databases. Key activities include developing SSIS packages, access method analysis, application consulting, performance tuning, device allocation, data organization, security, and statistical methods, including the development and monitoring of standards and procedures affecting models, database management, design and maintenance. Proficient in the utilization of DBA toolsets and more than one DBMS. Exhibits very strong technical or leadership skills.

Fundamental Components:

2+ years of relevant experience with concentration in Database Analysis, Design, and Development 2+ years of experience in T-SQL development Experience with SSIS packages, SSRS and SSAS Demonstrate the ability to adapt to an SSIS/SQL server environment including data extraction, cleansing/data integration, and loading from different data sources Ability to manage all phases of Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) development including reviewing technical documentation, development work, conducting design reviews, coordinating packaging & release deployments, and testing solutions in a complex environment. Extensive Stored Procedure development Experience with any EDI transition tool (preferably WTX and Healthcare EDI transactions ) experience is desiredSolid skills in database performance fine tuning and optimizing poorly performing queries, stored procedures Model and generate database structures Support day to day production inquiries and questions from other technology groups. Demonstrate an understanding of what is considered protected health information such as HIPPA and PHI Address data quality issues; work with business partners to build business understanding of data issues. Handle individual workload and deliver upon project milestones on time and on budget. Skilled in developing dimensional databases and data cubes Proven experience with SQL Server Analysis Services. Proven experience with SQL Server Reporting Services. Ability to design unit and system test plans, and execute testing. Extensive database administration experience Proven teamwork skills Excellent communicator both verbally and written with coordination and facilitation skills. Ability to multi-task and complete in a timely manner multiple assignments. Handle backups and restores On call responsibilities Rights administration Production bug fix issues


Requires in-depth knowledge of Microsoft toolsets. Ideal candidate will be required to lead the technical design of complex, highly re-usable processes including the creation and maintenance of technical application and component design specifications. Ability to code to the technical specifications and often times, guide other technical resources through development activities within an onshore/offshore staffing model. Responsible for interacting with multiple teams while working through technical and design issues in order to support the applications. Ability to work independently as well as in small groups, performing technical activities including analysis, design, development, and testing and production installation of all components applications. Willingness to be in an On Call rotation once every 5 weeks.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
