POSITION SUMMARY

Handling Accounts Receivable activities for a set number of account for First Health

Fundamental Components:

  • The job requires candidates to perform Accounts Receivable activities like calling or emailing external and internal clients to resolve the open balance for a client.

  • The position also requires the candidate research payment discrepancies as they resolve open balances.

  • Majority of the time will be spent on researching open balances and working with clients to resolve the open balances and making collection calls to collect on open balances

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

  • Minimum of three years recent and related collection activities.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office tools.

  • Excellent research skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • IRMS system knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES

  • Functional - Claims/Accounting & funding/4-6 Years

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Service/Creating a Differentiated Service Experience/ADVANCED

  • Service/Providing Solutions to Constituent Needs/FOUNDATION

Telework Specifications:

Part-Time Telework (ex: 3 days office-based, 2 days telework) This is allowed after manager feels ready to work independently.
