POSITION SUMMARY

Sales, account management and business retention for Aetna products and services in support of profitable growth and other business objectives.

Fundamental Components:

Support Sales and the Director of Account Management with new sales or existing business with activities that may include, but are not limited to, entry level sales training, enrollment meetings, health fairs, interregional RFAs, sharing or managing a book or business, inside sales, sales proposal development, customer reporting and constituent relations (producers, plan sponsors, customers). This position will also provide coverage at the Reception area.

May support and contribute to profitable sales on a shared book of business or customer base (i.e., assists in preparation of customer reporting and new business proposals.

Assists with underwriting case preparation, as appropriate.

Assists the Account Management team in preparation of new customer documents

May work with sales support area in support of RFP processing.

Completes entry level sales training and actively participates in ongoing sales training.

Participates in open enrollment presentation and health fairs as necessary.

Collaborates with team members, as appropriate, on case installation to manage the integration of client's and Aetna's internal organizations, ensuring a smooth installation.

May handle inside sales and works cross-functionally to complete the sale and ensure a timely and accurate installation.

Assists in the organization of finals meeting/site visits and the preparation of customer-focused sales presentations.

Produces a variety of correspondence, reports, and presentations using the appropriate software

Screens telephone calls in the Reception Area, answers routine questions and furnishes information

Opens, sorts, distributes, scans, organizes, prioritizes and responds to mail

Coordinates calendars; scheduling meetings, room reservations, hospitality arrangements(*)

EDUCATION

The level of education desired for candidates in this position is a HS Diploma.
