We are seeking self-motivated, energetic, detail oriented, highly organized, tech-savvy Registered Nurses to join our Workers Compensation Field Case Management team. FCM position is a combination between field work and paperwork out of a home office. FCM skilled at providing services under WC and working with the insurance adjusters, clients' physicians and employers with a goal of Maximum Medical improvement and Return to work.
Fundamental Components but not limited to the following:
Field Case Managers will possess an RN with one certification (of CCM, COHN, CRRN or CDMS) and Workers' Comp experience is preferred. The position requires independent thinking and a zest for a challenging day, which you get to plan. A FCM is in charge of their own scheduling and utilizing time appropriately. Assessment skills and communication skills are very important. FCM will travel almost every day and approximately 60-70% of the time. Time management and technology skills are critical in the position.
Minimum of three years case management experience (required for FCM role, preferred for all other areas).
5 years RN clinical practice experience (required for FCM role only).
Ability to travel within a designated geographic area for in-person case management activities
Knowledge of laws and regulations governing delivery of rehabilitation services.
Job-specific technical knowledge, (e.g., knowledge of workers compensation and disability industry for workers compensation case managers or case management).
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Effective communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently (may require working from home).
Proficiency with standard corporate software applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, as well as some special proprietary applications.
Effective computer skills including navigating multiple systems and keyboarding
The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Mobile and telework with no office location, it is a work at home and in the field in the areas of PENSACOLA, FL AND stretching to MOBILE, AL.
