What is Aetna marketing?
Aetna Marketing is a startup within the 165-year-old insurance enterprise, building a consultancy offering business strategy, creative, digital and activation services to our internal business clients. We are seeking rising college juniors and seniors to fill a variety of roles in our organization, including strategic marketers, project managers and designers.
Our jobs span across the functional areas of a marketing agency: strategy, design, development and project management.
What will you do?
The Design Intern will assist and support the creative team with designing print & digital collateral. Working with a team of digital and graphic designers, you will collaborate on a variety of campaigns and projects to introduce and implement innovative ideas and solutions across a variety of channels within the company.
Collaborate and brainstorm with a team of designers to produce solutions for internal clients
Develop project deliverables within the company s branding and development standards
What do you bring?
Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
The ability to handle and deliver multiple projects on time
Strong problem solving and communication skills
You re eligible to apply if you:
Are currently enrolled in college, pursuing a relevant undergraduate degree with an anticipated graduation date of December 2019 or Spring 2020
Have a current cumulative GPA and major GPA of 3.0
Have a willingness to relocate (if applicable)
Have an interest in a full-time position with Aetna upon graduation
Preferable skills include:
Experience in After Effects & Sketch a plus
Ability to write presentation-layer code including HTML(5) and CSS also a plus
Working knowledge of conceptual design, user interface design, responsive design and understand user-centered design
Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality, and a critical eye for design aesthetics
Ability to establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color effectively
