POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the execution of priority projects and programs within the marketing organization in close collaboration with lines of business and driving cross functional work across the marketing teams. Leads initiatives from start to implementation acting as the catalyst to cross team collaboration. Understand business goals and strategic priorities to ensure initiatives fully execute on intended impact and sets strategic direction for the project.

May lead multiple simultaneous initiatives or be assigned to a larger multi-workstream program depending on complexity and size of the engagement. May develop specialization in supporting a specific line of business or may lead initiatives that are both varied and broader in nature requiring adaptability in supporting lines of businesses, products, or marketing disciplines.

Acts as single point of contact for the project driving accountability across the team. Manages initial project definition and scoping in partnership with the project sponsor, drives business case formulation, requirements articulation and documentation, success measures definition, project planning and critical path identification, risks and issue management and implementation. Brings the team together through regularly scheduled meetings, documents status for management reporting, and is able to summarize the project impact and status for executive level reporting. Drives the team with a sense of urgency while inspiring all contributors as a thoughtful leader.

Is an effective collaborator across all marketing teams including Marketing technology, Branding, Commercial and Government Marketing, Consumer Engagement, Sales, Legal and Compliance.

Key knowledge base includes Lean and Six Sigma practices, Marketing disciplines with focus on Distribution (internal sales, account management, broker/consultant) Marketing. Experience with Digital Marketing, Medicare products, Health Insurance Open Enrollment practices, and Health Insurance in general a requirement.

Requires knowledge of Excel, Word, MSProject, Tableau, and other project planning tools. Agile also a plus.

Responsibilities:

·Work with program leadership to size and scope work, consult on marketing needs, and design operating model for work to be supported including a recommendation on staffing needs and team charter along with a plan for work to be executed against and roadmap

·Manage end-to-end delivery of complex multi-disciplinary marketing related projects for a line of business articulating and managing the engagement through a comprehensive project plan within the defined scope of work. Manage milestones, issues, risks. Responsible for connection points across organizations, engagement of partners across creative, Lean Six Sigma, compliance, security teams.

·Develop strong and thoughtful relationships and deep understanding of business needs and strategies for assigned scope of work. Consultative influencing mindset.

·Track project impact, metrics, outcomes

·Manage executive summary status reports on project progress, risk, issues, and impacts

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

·5-8 years Project and Program Management experience

·3-5 years IT experience with particular focus on business facing implementation role

·3-5 years of marketing

·Solid experience in the industry with deep understanding of and government businesses

·Cross-functional leadership experience, program management experience, influencing, and change management skills

·Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including listening and ability to explain complex ideas and technologies through

·Willingness to work outside of defined job description to establish new process or find a solution to new problems

·Ability to influence peers, leadership and lines of businesses (without having direct control)

·Lean Six Sigma

·Medicare business knowledge

·Marketing and Digital Marketing

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
