The Strategic Product Analytics Senior Manager will play a critical role in the development of Aetna s next-generation member platforms by bringing cutting-edge analytics from across the organization into Aetna s consumer-facing products. This individual will be tasked with deploying the analytic strategy for the suite of consumer-facing services, driving the incorporation of analytics into the product, evaluating success, and collaborating across the enterprise for continual innovation and improvement.
Maintain mastery-level understanding of Aetna/business unit strategy, customers, healthcare, and regulatory environment
Develop deep understanding of ongoing work across the organization to identify and structure opportunities for incorporation into consumer-facing products
Establish strategic priorities and guide the work of centralized teams providing support in alignment with the group's objectives
-Strategically advise Product Development efforts to focus on value-driving objectives. Ensure teams product strategies are articulated in a compelling manner customized for different stakeholders including laying out facts / data in easily digestible format and drawing clear conclusions
Leverage verbal and written communication to obtain buy-in from critical partners including prioritization and funding
Advanced ability to manipulate data, understand patterns, and draw conclusions in a hypothesis driven approach to analysis
Design metrics tracking to align against strategic priorities and provide guidance to teams implementing performance dashboards
Identify key areas for improvement to guide test & learn process
Oversee/lead the development of rigorous strategic/economic business cases for short-term enhancements, maintenance fixes and/or new products that are breakthrough and positioned to win in the marketplace, including 3- year roadmaps
Substantiates strategy with rigorous analysis and data/research, including milestones, success metrics, and objective, high-level benefits, e.g., membership, revenue, medical cost saving projections
Mastery-level understanding of strategy implications in context of other products and member-facing tools
- Identify and help employees mobilize cross-functional support required to achieve business objectives, including areas of tactical and strategic support
Build and leverage strong relationships and remove barriers; support team in navigating and working across business areas
Coordinates analytics across products within CHP portfolio, and pushes cross-learning
Take full accountability for end result, serve as product expert, and leverage all resources available to achieve objectives.
7+ years of strategy, management, and leadership experience
Strong analytics background and experience
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
